Join Nick and me on an unforgettable photography adventure through New Zealand's rugged South Island. This workshop takes you from the dramatic peaks of the Southern Alps to the tranquil alpine lakes of Aoraki Mount Cook and the wild beauty of Fiordland’s coastlines.

Over 12 days, you’ll photograph some of the country’s most iconic landscapes, including the striking Pancake Rocks, the famous Wanaka Tree, and the breathtaking Mitre Peak. Along the way, we’ll explore hidden gems off the beaten path, capturing everything from serene reflections in glacial lakes to misty rainforests and snow-capped mountain peaks.

We’ll chase golden hour light across stunning vistas, shoot under some of the darkest skies in the world, and embark on a private photography cruise through Milford Sound, where the majestic fjords meet the Southern Ocean. You’ll have the chance to photograph wildlife, including Fiordland-crested penguins and New Zealand fur seals. While wildlife sightings can’t be guaranteed, we’ll be visiting areas where they are often found, giving you a great opportunity to capture these remarkable creatures in their natural environment..

Expect long, rewarding days filled with scenic drives, expert guidance, and hands-on photography sessions. This workshop perfectly blends iconic landscapes with untouched wilderness, offering a unique opportunity to explore and photograph the diverse beauty of New Zealand’s South Island.
